Red Lakes Video started in 2013 as a wedding videography business in Appleton, Wisconsin, founded by Rodney Ketchum and Ted Tate. Our mission was to create personalized wedding videos that couples would cherish. As our customer base grew, we expanded our services to include video duplication of 8MM film, graduation videos, sports highlight reels, real estate videos, commercials, and tours of Assisted Living Facilities and Parks. With advancements in technology, we upgraded to 4D cameras and drones, enhancing our video production capabilities. Today, Rod and Ted lead a talented team of videographers skilled in various fields, including weddings, corporate events, and documentaries. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a network of actors and voiceover specialists, we’re committed to delivering exceptional video experiences for all your needs.

My love affair with movies started when I was a child. My mom used the lessons taught by the classic movies such as "Barrabus", "To Kill A Mockingbird", "The Bird Man of Alcatraz", "The Ten Commandments" with Charleston Heston, and "Cool Hand Luke" to install some basic moral values in me. As I matured through my teen and young adult years, I realized that video can be a very powerful medium of expression in my life and others.
Today, I utilize my leadership and people skills to work behind the scenes with Red Lakes Video Production to bring joy and fulfillment to the lives of others. I am very excited to work with skilled videographers and editors who help me continually grow in technical knowledge of video production.

I have been filming since the early 80's and have a passion for making people smile. It brings me joy when they light up and what we've produced for them. I believe in having a video made the way the client wants it and NOT what is best or easiest for me. It's your video and my job is to get you what you want and the way you want it.

Ultimately, I like to have a satisfied customer who knows they have what they want and then some. The saying goes, "You get what you pay for," but here at Red Lakes Video Productions, you get more than you bargained for!
